Desire Sanity Belief

This series of prints was created as a homage to the Dutch designer and printmaker H.N.Werkman (1882–1945). Although more literal than much of  his work, this series reflects his bold and playful use of typography and design. In its style it reflects his innovative printing techniques and in the meaning it reflects the the tragedy of his fascinating life.
